Meta science blogging, London style

Bootleg video of the Fringe Frivolous Unconference, 21 August 2009

On the evening of Friday, 21st August 2009, about 40 bloggers and interested hangers-on gathered on a rooftop terrace in Farringdon, for the Science Online London FringeFrivolous Unconference.

The editor of LabLit, Jenny Rohn, and London science communicator Matt Brown organized the event, generously hosted (and victualed) by Mendeley. Topics ranged from scientific narrative through the evils (or otherwise) of PR to the difference between labrats and lolcats.

A great time was had by all. Many thanks to everyone who agreed to be filmed. Longer interviews and analysis will follow in our next audio LabLit podcast!
