warm lips
warmed from the coffee we brewed
and sipped this
morning while we
sat in bed
warming our hands, our
bellies
but mostly our lips

swollen
but not with inflammatory mediators
(no bradykinin here)
no not with macrophages and thrombin
swollen - every bit -
every little bite of me with every
little taste of you
it's
dopamine
it's ventrostriatal
and
rushing
gushing blood
