The commentary from which this quote was taken joined in the general clamor over the recent bleak decision to close the London Planetarium to make way for yet more waxwork celebrities at Madame Tussaud's.
Astronomer Sir Patrick Moore noted: "London must now be the only major city in the world without a planetarium."
