Mark Zuckerberg on virtual reality

Mark Zuckerberg is convinced that VR will soon be commonplace. The Facebook founder has put his money where his mouth is, with his company recently buying the technology behind Oculus Rift, a soon-to-be-released cutting-edge headset gadget. In the same piece, Zuckerberg is quoted speculating about people using the goggles to watch tennis, sit in a classroom or have a consultation with the doctor.
What about lab-watching as a spectator sport - observing a team of scientists as they push back the boundaries of truth, one tiny result (or many big failures) at a time? Who knows, it might catch on!
