this universe – great bubble,
hyperventilated breath
(inflation/afflatus),
expanding, accelerating, expanding
within the greater multiverse;

our fine-tissue universe,
our m-brane, stretches thin
'til rainbows shimmer its surface;
then, thinner still, turns
purple, black, & bursts

scattering a few wet
drops of nothingness
to dissipate in meta-air,
until the next breath bends
the filmy sheet of emptiness

into a shivering sphere,
vibrating, expanding anew,
too soon returned to nothing, too.
