Escape velocity
From the LabLit science verse series

The darkness that follows
is not so much an abyss as a singularity.
A lost black hole fatally seducing my wandering world:
Decaying orbit – sense and words spiral in, promising to
subsume this fragile organic in an
obscene epiboly.
You fly in a higher orbit, precessing
in a charged field: defying entropy.
A polar magnetism is inevitable.
Perhaps you might share your momentum;
repulse the deadly clutch of that nuclear force
and accelerate me to escape velocity.
